Annapurna sunrise trek is a beautiful journey through dense forest of rhododendrons, and villages, with major attraction of sunrise view from Poon Hill. Poon Hill offers you the magnificent views of mountains, and places like Mustang and Pokhara. The glowing mountains in the rays of sun is something that shall captivate your heart and embrace you in pure beauty and amazement. Also, in this journey, you shall dissolve with the lifestyle of Gurung community in Ghandruk. There's also a Gurung Museum at Ghandruk, in case you want to know more about these cheerful people, you can pay a visit to the museum. Further, you can visit the world heritage sites in UNESCO, and some of the major attractions of Pokhara.
The 9 days itinerary of this trek starts after your arrival in Kathmandu. You shall spend an extra day exploring Kathmandu, and fly to Pokhara the next day. You shall ride all the way to Naya Pul and begin trekking to Ulleri through sub-tropical forest. Next day, you shall reach Ghoreapani. Early in the morning the next day, you shall climb uphill to Poon Hill to enjoy the best sunrise views. Then, you shall descend down to Tadapani. Leaving Tadapani, you shall reach Ghandruk and enjoy the company Gurung community. Next day you shall return back to Pokhara, and then to Kathmandu via flight another day.

Day 6:Tadapani to Ghandruk
Day 7:Ghandruk to Pokhara
Day 8:Flight to Kathmandu

Day 1:Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal. Our representative waiting for your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport shall pick you up and take you to your hotel. After you rest for a while, you are free to stroll around the busy streets of Kathmandu. We shall be sitting together in the evening to enjoy some of the typical dishes of Nepal in a popular restaurant of the town. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 2:Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Kathmandu is historically and architecturally important place; you shall find lots of sculptures, idols, carvings, ancient decorations, and temples here. Pashupatinath Temple, the monkey temple—Swayambhunath, Boudhhanath, and ancient palace of Basantapur Durbar Square are enlisted by UNESCO as world heritage sites; you certainly don't want to miss these places. The streets are colorful and busy, and you shall be thrilled with sensory overload. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 3:Flight to Pokhara/ Trek to Ulleri
Enjoying the views of mountains, you shall fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu in the morning. Pokhara awards you with the views of Mt. Manaslu, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and Annapurna Ranges. Rest for a while, and you shall drive to Naya Pul which takes about an hour from Pokhara. Then, you shall start trekking through the dense forest, passing Tikhedhunga Village and reach Bhurungdi Khola. Crossing the river, the trail takes you through a series of lots of stone steps and boulders to Ulleri. Stay overnight at Ulleri.
 
Altitude: Ulleri: 2,050m
Day 4:Ulleri to Ghorepani
The trail ascends uphill to Ghorepani, reaching where takes about 4 hours from Ulleri. Ghorepani is named after its important place for traders to let their horse drink water. You shall find some stalls and shops with local handicrafts and products. At the lower part of the rise, there is another part of Ghorepani. Since the high part offers you the best panoramic views of the mountains, you shall stay here, witnessing Mt. Nilgiri and Annapurna South. Enjoy the chilly wind in the evening. Stay overnight at Ghorepani.
 
Altitude: Ghorepani: 2,750m
Day 5:Ghorepani to Tadapani
Early in the morning, you shall climb uphill to Poon Hill (3,210)—the perfect place to view sunrise. This place is also called 'Photographer's Paradise', for it offers views of Pokhara, Mustang, and mountains like Dhaulagiri range and Annapurna. As the white mountains glow in the early sunrise, you shall be captivated by the sheer feeling of striking beauty of nature. After spending a while here, you shall descend down to Tadapani through rhododendron forest and passing waterfalls. Stay overnight at Tadapani.
 
Altitude: Tadapani: 2,700m
Day 6:Tadapani to Ghandruk
The steep trail descends down through dark and lush forest full with rhododendrons. Making through another forest of cherry, you shall find a village at a slope, full with stone houses—Ghandruk Village. Ghandruk is mostly inhabited by Gurung. This slope offers you the magnificent views of Mt. Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Hiunchuli. You shall get opportunity to observe the Gurung culture from close. Stay overnight at Ghandruk.
 
Altitude: Ghandruk: 1,940m
Day 7:Ghandruk to Pokhara
The trail descends downhill from Ghandruk, through Birethanti. The trail takes you through stone steps to terraced fields. It keeps descending down to Modi Khola, and another half an hour trek leads you to Naya Pul. Catching a vehicle from there, you shall return back to Pokhara. The drive takes an hour. You can stroll around the Lakeside in the evening. Stay overnight in Pokhara.
 
Altitude: Pokhara: 823m
Day 8:Flight to Kathmandu
Again, witnessing the views of mountains, you shall fly to Kathmandu. Our representative shall take you to your hotel. After resting for a while, you can walk in the streets of Kathmandu and visit some of the places. You can also do shopping for your journey tomorrow. We shall be enjoying local dishes in a restaurant in the evening for dinner. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.
 
Altitude: Kathmandu: 1,320m
Day 9:Departure
Our representative shall take you to the airport in time, and bade farewell. Have a happy journey back to your destination. We expect your next adventure to Nepal.
