DAY 1:ARRIVE AT PARO AIRPORT                                                              (B,L,D)  
Arrive at Paro Airport and then drive to the capital city Thimphu. Altitude: 2320m/ 7656ft above sea level.(1 hour 30 minutes drive)

Altitude: 2800m/ 7524ft above sea level (4 hours drive)
 
Morning Drive towards Punakha/Wangdue
 
Later you can also visit the Botanical garden just below Dochula Pass where there are lot of collection of rhododendrons.

 Morning visit, Punakha Dzong (fortress)
 
Hike to Chimi Lhakhang(Temple of fertility.)(30 minutes hike to and fro, gentle steep, good footh path across the valleys and villages)
 
Overnight in Punakha/Wangdue
 
DAY 4:PUNAKHA/WANGDUE TO BUMTHANG                                                (B, L, D)  
Altitude: 2600m/ 8580ft above sea level.(7 hours drive)
On the way Visit  Trongsa Dzong,Trongsa Museum:
 
Later drive to Bumthang valley.
 
On the way visit Hand Loom shops, villages and take pictures along the way.
 
DAY5: IN BUMTHANG                                                                                     (B, L, D)  
Morning visit the Swiss farm and see how sweet cheese, apple brandy and locally brewed wine and beer are made.

Then hike across to Tamzhing Lhakhang.

DAY7:GANGTEY TO PARO

Morning hike across Gangtey Nature Trail,Visit Gangtey Monastery
 
Later drive to Paro and visit, Rimpung Dzong:
 
Overnight in Paro.
