Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrive in Delhi

Meet on arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Arrive and check in at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 2 : Delhi Tour-Drive to Agra (203 km/4.5 hrs)

Morning tour of Delhi Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana—the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru—Jama Masjid, and drive past Red Fort and Chandni Chowk.

Afternoon: Visit Qutub Minar, built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial Arch), and Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern Hindu temple. Also drive past the President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings, and Connaught Place shopping center. In time, drive to Agra.

Day 3 : Agra Tour-Jaipur (233 km/5 hrs)

After breakfast, visit the famous Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, and made out of white marble. It took 22 years to complete (1630–1652 AD). After breakfast visit Agra fort. Built principally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565, the red sandstone Agra fort was partially converted into a palace during Shah Jahan's time. Though the principal structure was built by Akbar, visit Itmad ud-Daulah in the afternoon. This tomb belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghias-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir, or Chief Minister, of Emperor Jehangir. This white marble tomb was built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. In time, drive to Jaipur. En-route, visit Fatehpur Sikri while driving to Jaipur.

Fatehpur Sikri was built between 1571 and 1585. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendor at its height. Though the city is in ruins, it is a place to visit if one comes to Agra. But in real terms, Fatehpur Sikri is a place where one should spend some time. Day 4 : Jaipur Tour

Amber Fort, morning visit Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the state. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory, glittering with mirrors. Ascend the Fort on Elephant back.

Afternoon tour of Jaipur Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, was given a pink coat a century ago in honor of a visiting prince, and ever since, it has retained this color. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh, the notable astronomer, this city is 260 years old. Visit the Maharaja's City Palace, the Observatory, and Ram Niwas Gardens. Drive past Hawa Mahal and through the pink-rose residential and business areas. Stay overnight at Hotel.

Day 5 : Jaipur–Delhi (270 km/7 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Delhi. Arrive and check in at the hotel in Delhi.

Day 6 : Delhi-Srinagar, Kashmir (By Flight)

In time, transfer to the airport to board a flight to Srinagar. Arrive and check in at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 7 : Srinagar Tour (Kashmir)

Today you will visit Srinagar. First, you will do a shikara ride on the Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with, which is often compared to Venice. This morning, after breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Srinagar. The world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), & The Chasme Shahi Garden, & Shankaracharya Temple.

Day 8 : Srinagar–Delhi (By Flight) Connecting Evening Train to Amritsar

Moring you will be transferred to Airport to board flight to Delhi. Later, connect by train to Amritsar. Arrive in Amritsar and transfer to the hotel.

In the evening, you will visit Wagah, an army outpost on the Indo-PPak border, 30 km from Amritsar, where the daily highlight is the "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect formation, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervor rises, and lights are switched on, marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 9 : Amritsar Golden Temple-Delhi Departure

After breakfast, take a full-day city tour of Amritsar, visiting the Golden Temple, the most important Sikh shrine, which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs and is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Next, visit Jallianwala Bagh, where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. Also visit Durgiana temple. In time, transfer to the railway station to board the train to Delhi and later connect with a flight to your onward destination.
