The trek usually begins
right from Arughat, a small town in Gorkha district, and ends at Dharapani

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, you can take the opportunity to rest or explore the vibrant streets of Kathmandu, absorbing the unique blend of ancient history and modern energy that the city offers.
In the morning, embark on a guided tour of Kathmandu's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. These sites showcase the rich cultural and historical heritage of Nepal. The afternoon is at your leisure, allowing you to further explore the city or relax and prepare for your upcoming trek.
Your Manaslu Circuit Trek officially begins as you leave Kathmandu and embark on a scenic drive to Machha Khola. The journey takes approximately 7 hours, offering glimpses of rural landscapes, terraced fields, and traditional villages. Machha Khola, situated at an altitude of 900 meters, is your first overnight stop on this adventure.
The trek commences today as you follow the trail along the Budhi Gandaki River. Passing through picturesque landscapes, small settlements, and lush forests, you reach Jagat at an altitude of 1,340 meters. The village showcases traditional architecture and provides a glimpse into the local way of life.
Continuing along the Budhi Gandaki, you trek to Philim village and further to Deng at an altitude of 1,860 meters. The trail takes you through terraced fields, bamboo forests, and charming villages. Philim, with its traditional houses, is a cultural highlight, and Deng offers a peaceful setting for the night.
Ascending through forests and picturesque landscapes, the trail leads to Namrung at an altitude of 2,900 meters. The views of the surrounding mountains become more impressive as you gain altitude. Namrung is a charming village with traditional houses and is an ideal place for acclimatization.
As you trek towards Sama-Gaon, you enter a region with Tibetan influences. The trail offers breathtaking views of Manaslu and other snow-capped peaks. Sama-Gaon, at an altitude of 3,500 meters, is a Tibetan-influenced village with monasteries and traditional architecture, providing a unique cultural experience.
Take a well-deserved rest day in Sama-Gaon for acclimatization and exploration. You can visit the local monasteries, interact with the residents, or undertake a short excursion to nearby viewpoints for stunning views of Manaslu and the surrounding Himalayan range.
Leaving Sama-Gaon, the trail takes you to Samdo at an altitude of 3,690 meters. The trek provides captivating views of Manaslu and the neighboring peaks. Samdo is a traditional Tibetan village, and the evening offers a chance to immerse yourself in the local culture and hospitality.
Today's trek leads to Dharmasala, also known as Larkya Base Camp, at an elevation of 4,450 meters. The shorter trek allows for acclimatization and preparation for the challenging ascent to the Larkya-La Pass. Dharmasala is a basic campsite, providing the necessary facilities for trekkers.
A challenging day awaits as you ascend to the high point of the trek, the Larkya-La Pass, at an elevation of 5,106 meters. The pass offers breathtaking panoramic views of Manaslu, Himlung, Cheo Himal, and other peaks. Descending from the pass, you reach Bimthang at 3,590 meters, where you rest for the night.
Descending further, the trail takes you through picturesque landscapes to the village of Gho at 2,535 meters. The trek offers a change in scenery, with terraced fields and traditional villages dotting the route. Gho provides a peaceful environment for your overnight stay.
Continuing the descent, you trek to Dharapani village at an altitude of 1,820 meters. The trail passes through charming villages and forests, offering a pleasant journey. Dharapani is a gateway to the Annapurna region, and the village reflects a blend of both Manaslu and Annapurna cultures.
Today marks the end of your trek as you drive back to Kathmandu. The journey takes approximately 8 hours, providing time to reflect on the incredible experiences of the Manaslu Circuit Trek. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you'll be transferred to your hotel, where you can relax and reminisce about the diverse landscapes and cultural encounters.
