Hence, Mount Manaslu is also commonly known as the Mountain of the Spirit.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu:

Our team members will welcome you at the Airport and will be then ushered to the Hotel. Our travel representatives will explain briefly about the travel itinerary upon Airport arrival. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : Trek preparation and sightseeing in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival at the Kathmandu, you will be preparing for the trek while enjoying sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. Several world heritage sites including the Basantapur Durbar, Swayambhunath Temple, Bouddhanath Stupa and Pasupatinath Temple are the places you will visit in the second day. Overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 3 : Drive to Machha Khola (900 m / 2,952 feet) - approx. 07 hours.

Start your journey with a scenic drive to Machha Khola, situated at an altitude of 900 meters. The 7-hour drive takes you through picturesque landscapes and allows you to witness the rural life of Nepal.

Day 4 : Trek to Jagat (1,340 m) - 06 hours.

After crossing Machha Khola, we come across a hot-water spring called ‘Tatopani’. Many trekkers take a dip at Tatopani as it helps to relax the body. Nepali people believe that taking a dip at Tatopani helps in curing several skin-related problems. The trail follows along a dense forest area Tatopani while the raging Budhi Gandaki River still keeps our company. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 5 : Trek to Deng (1,860 m) via Philim village - 05 hours.

We trek for a relatively short period of time. Around four hours of trek past the great looking valleys and the rivers takes us to a wonderful small village called Philim. Also during the way, we come across several suspension bridges that offer great view of the adjoining ambience. Overnight stay at a guesthouse.

Day 6 : Trek to Lokpa (2,240 m) - 06 hours.

Trek to Lokpa, situated at 2,240 meters. The 6-hour trek offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and a glimpse into the rural lifestyle of the region.

Day 7 : Trek to Chumling (2,386 m) via Chisapani - 06 hours.

Walking on a 6-hour trek to Chumling, passing through Chisapani. Explore the unique cultural practices of the inhabitants and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the village.

Day 8 : Trek to Chokanparo (3,010 m / 9,903 feet) - 05 hours.

Ascend to Chokanparo at an elevation of 3,010 meters. The 5-hour trek allows you to witness the changing landscapes and experience the gradual increase in altitude.

Day 9 : Trek to Nile (3,361 m / 11,058 feet) - 06 hours.

Continue your trek to Nile, reaching an altitude of 3,361 meters. The trail provides stunning views of the surrounding peaks and a taste of the mountainous terrain.

Day 10 : At Nile for Hike to Mu Gompa (3,700 m / 12,174 feet) - 07 hours.

Take a day to acclimatize and hike to Mu Gompa at 3,700 meters. The 7-hour excursion offers panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains and unique insights into the local monastic life.

Day 11 : Trek back to Chumling - 06 hours.

Descend back to Chumling, retracing your steps and enjoying the familiar landscapes. The 6-hour trek provides a chance to relax and reflect on the journey.

Day 12 : Trek to Lokpa (2,240 m) - 06 hours.

Continue your descent to Lokpa, trekking for 6 hours. Enjoy the scenic beauty and the hospitality of the locals as you return to familiar terrain.

Day 13 : Trek to Namrung (2,630 m) - 06 hours.

Ascend to Namrung at an altitude of 2,630 meters. The 6-hour trek introduces you to the unique flora and fauna of the region and offers panoramic mountain views.

Day 14 : Trek to Sama-Gaon (3,500 m / 11,480 feet) - 06 hours.

Ascend to Sama-Gaon at 3,500 meters, a picturesque village surrounded by majestic peaks. The 6-hour trek offers breathtaking views and an introduction to the unique local lifestyle.

Day 15 : At Sama-Gaon rest day for acclimatization and excursion.

Take a well-deserved rest day in Sama-Gaon for acclimatization. Explore the village, visit monasteries, and enjoy the panoramic views of Manaslu and its neighboring peaks.

Day 16 : Trek to Samdo (3,690 m) - 05 hours.

Continue your trek to Samdo, situated at an altitude of 3,690 meters. The 5-hour trek takes you through high-altitude landscapes and provides stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 17 : Trek to Dharmasala (4,450 m / 14,596 feet) - 04 hours.

Trek to Dharmasala, also known as Larkya Base Camp, at an elevation of 4,450 meters. The 4-hour trek prepares you for the challenging day ahead.

Day 18 : Trek to Bhimphedi (3,590 m) via Larke-La Pass (5,106 m) - 08 hours.

Embark on a challenging trek over Larke-La Pass, reaching an elevation of 5,106 meters. Descend to Bhimphedi at 3,590 meters, surrounded by stunning mountain vistas.

Day 19 : Trek to Gho (2,535 m) - 04 hours

Descend to Gho at 2,535 meters, enjoying a shorter 4-hour trek. Reflect on the challenging pass and soak in the scenic beauty of the surroundings.

Day 20 : Trek to Dharapani village (1,820 m) - 05 hours.

Continue your descent to Dharapani village at an altitude of 1,820 meters. The 5-hour trek allows you to experience the transition from alpine terrain to lower elevations.

Day 21 : Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel - 08 hours' journey.

Conclude the trek with a scenic 8-hour drive back to Kathmandu. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the comforts of the city after days in the mountains.

Day 22 : At Kathmandu free for individual activities.

Take a free day in Kathmandu for individual activities. Explore the city, shop for souvenirs, or simply relax before your departure.

Day 23 : Departure
