Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival day in Kathmandu valley, 1300 m

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. After settling in, you'll have a pre-climbing briefing where you'll meet your guide and discuss the details of the Larke Peak climbing itinerary. Use the rest of the day to explore the vibrant city.

Day 2 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu, 1300m and Preparation

Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural and historical treasures of Kathmandu. Visit iconic sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and the ancient Kathmandu Durbar Square. In the afternoon, meet with your trekking guide for a briefing and final preparations for the Larke Peak climbing adventure.

Day 3 : Soti Khola- Machha Khola, 900m, 6 hours.

Start your trek as you journey from Soti Khola to Machha Khola, a 6-hour trek that introduces you to the natural beauty of Nepal.The trail takes you along the banks of the Budi Gandaki River, passing through picturesque landscapes, charming villages, and lush forests.

Day 4 : Machha Khola– Jagat, 1340m, 6 hours.

Continue your trek from Machha Khola to Jagat. The trail offers a mix of terrains, including rocky paths and suspension bridges, providing stunning views of the surrounding hills. After approximately 6 hours of trekking, reach Jagat at an altitude of 1340 meters.

Day 5 : Jagat– Deng, 1860m, 7 hours.

Trek from Jagat to Deng, passing through quaint villages and terraced fields. The trail gradually ascends, offering panoramic views of the mountains. After a 7-hour trek, arrive at Deng, situated at an altitude of 1860 meters.

Day 6 : Ghap– Lho Village, 3200m, 6 hours

Continue your journey through the lush landscapes, ascending from Ghap to Lho Village. Experience the unique culture and hospitality of the local communities along the way. After a 6-hour trek, reach the picturesque Lho Village at an altitude of 3200 meters.

Day 7 : Lho– Sama Gaon, 3500m, 6 hours.

Trek from Lho to Sama Gaon, a beautiful village surrounded by mountains. The trail takes you through dense forests and offers glimpses of the impressive Manaslu range. After approximately 6 hours, arrive at Sama Gaon, situated at an altitude of 3500 meters.

Day 8 : Sama Gaon– Samdo, 4500m, 7 hours

Continue the ascent as you trek from Sama Gaon to Samdo. The trail provides breathtaking views of Manaslu and its neighboring peaks. After a 7-hour trek, reach the high-altitude village of Samdo at 4500 meters.

Day 9 : Rest day at Samdo

Take a well-deserved rest day in Samdo for acclimatization. Explore the village, interact with the locals, and soak in the serene mountain atmosphere in preparation for the challenging days ahead.

Day 10 : Samdo- Dharmsala, 4460m, 6 hours.

Resume your trek from Samdo to Dharmsala, also known as Larkya Phedi. The trail gradually ascends, and you'll notice the landscape becoming more rugged. After a 6-hour trek, reach Dharmsala at an altitude of 4460 meters.

Day 11 : Dharmsala– Larke Base Camp, 5480m, 6 hours

Continue the ascent towards Larke Base Camp, where you'll be surrounded by stunning alpine scenery. The trek takes approximately 6 hours, bringing you to an altitude of 5480 meters.

Day 12 : Reserve day for contingency

A contingency day is reserved to account for any unforeseen circumstances, ensuring flexibility in the itinerary. This day can be used for rest, acclimatization, or dealing with unexpected situations that may arise.

Day 13 : Base Camp– Larke Peak Summit, 6249m – Back to Base Camp, 5480m, 8 hours.

The highlight of the trek – summit Larke Peak at 6249 meters. The climb is challenging but rewarding, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Descend back to Larke Base Camp, completing an 8-hour day.

Day 14 : Larke Base Camp via Larkya La, 5215m- Bhimthang, 3590m, 8 hours.

Trek from Larke Base Camp, crossing the formidable Larkya La pass at 5215 meters. Descend to Bhimthang, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. The 8-hour trek provides a diverse range of landscapes.

Day 15 : Bhimthang– Dharapani, 1920m, 5 hours.

Continue the descent from Bhimthang to Dharapani. The trail takes you through lush forests and charming villages, offering a pleasant 5-hour trek to an altitude of 1920 meters.

Day 16 : Dharapani– Drive Beshisahar, 760m - Continue drive to Kathmandu 1300m, 5 hours.

Conclude your trek by driving from Dharapani to Beshisahar and then continuing the journey back to Kathmandu. The drive provides scenic views, and after approximately 5 hours, you'll return to the capital city, marking the end of your Larke Peak climbing adventure.

Day 17 : Departure

Your Larke Peak Climbing adventure concludes as you depart from Kathmandu. Our representative will transfer you to the airport, and you can reflect on the incredible experiences and memories created during this challenging and rewarding expedition.
