Narayan Prasad Bhatta, the Managing Director of Ace Holiday Treks, carries an inspiring story of determination, resilience, and vision. Born into a lower-middle-class peasant family in a rural village of Gorkha, his childhood was defined by struggle and responsibility. While pursuing his schooling, Narayan had to balance academic life with agricultural work to support his family. Despite limited resources and challenging circumstances, he never gave up on education. In 1998, with the dream of higher studies, he came to Kathmandu. Life in the city was equally tough, as he had no financial backup. He worked tirelessly to fund his studies and sustain himself while gradually finding his way into the trekking industry.
His journey in tourism began humbly as a trekking helper, assisting trekkers and guides in the Himalayas. Through countless trips, he developed not only physical endurance but also a deep connection with the mountains and travelers from across the globe. Recognizing his potential, Narayan undertook formal training and soon became a professional trekking guide. Over the years, he led hundreds of trekking groups from dozens of countries, guiding them safely and joyfully through some of the most challenging and rewarding trekking routes in the Himalayas, especially in Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu and Langtang region. His leadership, communication skills, and natural ability to connect with people earned him admiration from both clients and colleagues.
After more than twelve years of guiding experience, Narayan transformed his vision into reality by establishing Ace Holiday Treks in 2010. What began as a small dream is now a thriving trekking and adventure company, offering diverse packages to explore Nepal’s majestic landscapes. Under his leadership, the company has grown steadily, supported by a team of dedicated full-time and part-time professionals. Narayan’s extensive travel experiences, both within Nepal and abroad including Europe, South and South East Asia, have shaped his broad perspective and innovative approach to tourism. Fluent in English and Hindi, his communication makes every client and partner agencies very comfortable while dealing about their needs and interests.
Today, Narayan is not only a successful entrepreneur but also a role model who proves that perseverance, humility, and hard work can create extraordinary achievements. With his charming personality and strong leadership, he continues to inspire his team and ensure that Ace Holiday Treks delivers unforgettable experiences to every traveler.
