Narayan Prasad Bhatta, the Managing Director of Ace Holiday Treks, carries an inspiring story of determination, resilience, and vision. Born into a lower-middle-class peasant family in a rural village of Gorkha, his childhood was defined by struggle and responsibility. While pursuing his schooling, Narayan had to balance academic life with agricultural work to support his family. Despite limited resources and challenging circumstances, he never gave up on education. In 1998, with the dream of higher studies, he came to Kathmandu. Life in the city was equally tough, as he had no financial backup. He worked tirelessly to fund his studies and sustain himself while gradually finding his way into the trekking industry.

His journey in tourism began humbly as a trekking helper, assisting trekkers and guides in the Himalayas. Through countless trips, he developed not only physical endurance but also a deep connection with the mountains and travelers from across the globe. Recognizing his potential, Narayan undertook formal training and soon became a professional trekking guide. Over the years, he led hundreds of trekking groups from dozens of countries, guiding them safely and joyfully through some of the most challenging and rewarding trekking routes in the Himalayas, especially in Everest, Annapurna, Manaslu and Langtang region. His leadership, communication skills, and natural ability to connect with people earned him admiration from both clients and colleagues.

After more than twelve years of guiding experience, Narayan transformed his vision into reality by establishing Ace Holiday Treks in 2010. What began as a small dream is now a thriving trekking and adventure company, offering diverse packages to explore Nepal’s majestic landscapes. Under his leadership, the company has grown steadily, supported by a team of dedicated full-time and part-time professionals. Narayan’s extensive travel experiences, both within Nepal and abroad including Europe, South and South East Asia, have shaped his broad perspective and innovative approach to tourism. Fluent in English and Hindi, his communication makes every client and partner agencies very comfortable while dealing about their needs and interests.

Today, Narayan is not only a successful entrepreneur but also a role model who proves that perseverance, humility, and hard work can create extraordinary achievements. Sujan Amgain, the International Business Manager of Ace Holiday Treks, brings with him an inspiring blend of academic excellence, professional versatility, and global exposure. Hailing from a middle-class family in a rural village of Gorkha, his early education was rooted in the simplicity of village life. In 1999, he moved to Kathmandu with the determination to pursue higher studies. His academic journey began in Science but gradually expanded into the field of Social Sciences, where he found his passion for understanding people, societies, and global relations. He completed his Master’s degree in Peace and Development Studies in Nepal, with Tourism as one of his key elective subjects. His academic pursuit later took him to Norway, where he completed another Master’s degree in International Relations, further broadening his global outlook.

Over the years, Sujan has worn many professional hats, each enriching his understanding of people, cultures, and development. He has worked as a language instructor, academic counselor, business development advisor, social development consultant, lecturer and a professional trainer. Each of these experiences sharpened his skills in communication, problem-solving, and leadership while deepening his sensitivity towards cultural diversity and human values. Complementing his professional expertise, Sujan has extensive travel experience to many European countries, the UK, Japan, Thailand, UAE, Qatar, and India for various academic and professional purposes, giving him a firsthand understanding of global tourism trends and international business practices. He has also extensive travel and trekking experience in most of the popular travel destinations and trekking trails of the Himalaya.

Today, as the International Business Manager at Ace Holiday Treks, Sujan is the key figure in building strong international partnerships and client relationships. He is responsible for leading the development of innovative adventure and travel packages that resonate with travelers from across the globe. Sujan stands out for his exceptional language skills - fluent in Nepali, English, and Hindi - which contribute to his polished, professional demeanor and ability to connect across diverse audiences. With his expertise in marketing strategies, cross-cultural communication, and business development, he ensures that the company remains globally competitive while staying rooted in the authentic experiences Nepal has to offer. His vision and leadership not only strengthen the company’s international presence but also inspire the team to think bigger and deliver better.

Nikita Bhatta, 22, is the daughter of Narayan Bhatta and a Bachelor’s degree final-year Information Technology student. Balancing academics with hands-on experience, she dedicates her time after college to support the company’s marketing and ICT efforts.

Raised in a family where travel and trekking are a daily way of life, Nikita has grown up immersed in the values and operations of the tourism industry. This background gives her a strong understanding of the business, which she now applies in designing impactful digital materials and strategic plans.

Academically strong and fluent in English and Hindi, she brings both technical knowledge and communication skills to the team. With each passing day, she continues to shape herself into a capable tourism professional and future entrepreneur.

Born and raised in Ramechhap, a culturally rich region home to the indigenous Tamang people of Nepal, Yagya Bahadur Karki grew up surrounded by natural beauty and traditional mountain life. With adventure rooted deeply in his upbringing, his path toward becoming a trekker, climber, and explorer was clear from an early age.

Now based in Kathmandu, Yagya holds a Bachelor’s degree and has completed extensive training as both a trekking guide and a cultural, city, and heritage tour guide. With over 30 years of experience in the field, he stands as one of the most seasoned and respected members of our guiding team. Throughout his decades-long career, he has successfully led hundreds of trekking and tour groups across Nepal's most iconic routes as well as remote, less-traveled trails and destinations. His expertise also includes leading cultural and adventure trips in India, adding international depth to his guiding experience.

In addition to his guiding skills, Yagya is also known among guests as a talented photographer, often capturing stunning moments from the trail and sharing them with his groups. His eye for detail, both in guiding and in photography, enhances every journey.

Fluent in English and Hindi, Yagra is a professional, dependable, and goal-driven leader. He is especially skilled at managing large groups, ensuring every guest feels safe, cared for, and valued. Born and raised in the historic Gorkha district - the proud homeland of the brave Gurkhas - Kapil Pandey grew up immersed in the rich cultural traditions of the Tamang, Gurung, Newar and Brahmin communities. Surrounded by hills and heritage, adventure was in his blood from the very beginning.

Now based in Kathmandu, Kapil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and has undergone extensive training to become both a certified trekking guide and a skilled cultural, city, and heritage tour guide. With over 25 years of hands-on experience, he has led hundreds of groups through Nepal’s iconic trekking routes and deep into lesser-known, off-the-beaten-path trails and cultural sites. In addition to his deep knowledge of Nepal, Kapil also has guiding experience in India, further enriching his perspective and adaptability. Fluent in English and Hindi, he excels in communication, group management, and client care - particularly with large trekking and touring groups.

Kapil is known for being very active, professional, highly dependable, and self-driven - a true go-getter. His outspoken nature, integrity, and tireless commitment to guest satisfaction make him a favorite among travelers. Born and raised in the majestic Solukhumbu district - the home of Everest - Shiva Shrestha was destined for the mountains. Growing up among the Sherpa community, trekking and mountaineering became second nature to him from a young age.

Now based in Kathmandu, Shiva has completed his high school education along with extensive professional training in trekking and climbing. With over 25 years of experience in the field, he has led hundreds of trekking expeditions across Nepal, including both classic routes and remote, off-the-beaten-path trails. His experience also extends beyond Nepal to renowned trekking destinations in Tibet, Bhutan, and India.

Shiva is known for his calm demeanor, professionalism, and dedication. Fluent in English and Hindi, he has the communication skills and leadership ability to manage and guide large trekking groups with ease and confidence.
