Loved this trek more than I expected. Upper Mustang feels like a completely different world compared to the usual green Himalayan trails.The landscape is wide, dry, and open most of the time, and the wind becomes part of the daily routine. Some afternoons were quite dusty, so we kept our buffs and sunglasses ready almost all the time. Lo Manthang was the most memorable stop. Very calm place, ancient feeling, and we spent hours just walking around without any rush. It didn’t feel like a typical trekking village at all.Tea houses were simple but fine for resting after long walking days. Nights were colder than expected in some places, but manageable with proper gear. Food was mostly repetitive, but that’s normal in such a remote region. Ace Holiday Treks handled everything smoothly in the background, so the journey itself felt easy to follow. Upper Mustang is not an easy comfort trek, but it is one of the most unique experiences you can have in Nepal.
