Our Upper Mustang Trek was a fantastic journey with Ace Holiday Treks, and we truly appreciate their support and professional service throughout the trip.
Upper Mustang Trek was one of the most unique journeys I’ve done in Nepal. The landscape is very different from other treks dry valleys, red cliffs, wide open spaces, and strong winds on some days which made walking a bit challenging. We visited Lo Manthang and spent time walking inside the old town. It felt very quiet and almost like stepping into a different time. The monasteries and small villages along the way gave a good insight into the local Tibetan influenced culture. Accommodation was basic but comfortable enough after long walking days. Food was simple but always enough to keep going. Some sections were longer than expected, especially on windy days, so it definitely requires decent fitness and patience.Thank you to Ace Holiday Treks for arranging everything properly and making the Upper Mustang trek smooth from start to finish. It’s a very different side of Nepal and worth experiencing once.
I booked the Upper Mustang Trek expecting dramatic landscapes, but what surprised me most was the culture. Every village felt unique, and visiting ancient monasteries gave me the feeling of stepping back in time. Lo Manthang was unlike anywhere else I have visited in Nepal. The region's Tibetan influence is visible everywhere, from the prayer flags to the traditional houses and local customs. While the scenery was impressive, it was the cultural experience that made this trek unforgettable. Thank you to Ace Holiday Treks for helping me discover such a fascinating part of Upper Mustang Nepal. This was much more than a trekking holiday.
One of my favorite memories from the Langtang Gosaikunda Trek wasn't at a viewpoint or mountain pass it was a cold evening in a small teahouse after a long day of walking. Trekkers from different countries gathered around the stove, sharing stories while snow fell outside. It was one of those simple travel moments that stays with you long after the trip ends. The trek itself offered a great balance of nature, culture, and adventure. Walking through Langtang Valley, visiting remote villages, and eventually reaching the sacred Gosaikunda Lakes gave me a deeper appreciation for this part of Nepal. The region felt authentic and far less crowded than many other trekking destinations. This quieter, less-commercial atmosphere is one of the reasons Langtang is often valued as an alternative to the busier Everest and Annapurna regions. Thank you to Ace Holiday Treks for helping create such a memorable experience. When I think about trekking in Nepal, it's those genuine moments and connections that come to mind first.
The Langtang Gosaikunda Trek was originally on my bucket list because of the Himalayan views, but the people I met along the way ended up being the highlight of the journey. One evening in a small teahouse, we sat around the stove listening to stories from local villagers about life in Langtang after the 2015 earthquake. It gave me a completely different appreciation for the region and the resilience of the local community. Of course, the scenery was spectacular. The walk through Langtang National Park, the glaciers near Kyanjin Gompa, and the sacred Gosaikunda Lakes were all unforgettable. But what made the trek special was feeling connected to the places and people rather than simply passing through them. Thank you to Ace Holiday Treks for creating such a meaningful trekking experience. Everything was arranged professionally, allowing us to focus on enjoying the Langtang Valley Trek and learning about the culture along the way.
