This was my first ever trek. I was nervous about altitude and fitness. The 10 day ABC itinerary was perfect for a beginner. The walking distances each day were reasonable. Our group walked slow and steady. The guide never rushed anyone. The porter carried my main bag so I only needed a small daypack. The views along the trail kept me motivated. When I reached Base Camp I actually felt emotional. The team at Ace Treks made everything easy airport pickup, hotel bookings, permits, transport. I did not have to worry about anything except walking and enjoying the scenery. Highly recommend for first timers.
The sunrise view during the trek was honestly one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. Watching the mountains slowly light up in golden color was unforgettable. The service from Ace Treks was also very good, everything was well organized and smooth throughout the journey
I did the Annapurna Base Camp trek and honestly didn’t expect much because it was a budget package, but it turned out to be a really solid experience. Everything was arranged properly from Kathmandu, and I didn’t face any confusion during the trek. The guide was experienced and kept checking on everyone’s condition, especially on the steep climbs. The trail itself is beautiful forests, villages, rivers, and then suddenly huge mountains appearing as you go higher. Reaching ABC was a moment I’ll never forget, standing surrounded by those peaks felt unreal.
The Everest Base Camp trek was tougher than I expected, especially after Namche when the altitude really starts to hit. There were definitely moments where I had to slow down and just take it step by step. Overall though, everything was well organized by Ace Treks. The guide kept an eye on everyone and made sure we were adjusting properly, which helped a lot. The tea houses were simple but fine after long days of walking, and food was consistent throughout the trek. The best part was reaching Kala Patthar early morning and seeing Everest and the surrounding peaks light up at sunrise. That moment really stayed with me. It was a hard trek, but I always felt supported and safe the whole way.
I booked this trek with Ace Treks mostly because my friend recommended them. I thought it would just be walking and mountains. But honestly . I ended up appreciating the cultural side just as much.In Namche, we stopped at a small local bakery, which was a nice surprise compared to the usual tea houses. One of the most memorable moments was visiting Tengboche Monastery during the morning prayers it felt calm and really special just being there and watching everything happen. Walking through villages like Khumjung, I noticed how different each place felt. The traditional stone houses and the way life is still very connected to the mountains made the trek feel more meaningful than just a physical challenge. And of course, the scenery was unreal. Seeing Ama Dablam from the trail near Pangboche was one of those moments you just stop and stare. It felt like more than just a trek. It was a mix of hiking, culture, and simple everyday life in the Himalayas.
