Trekking to Everest Base Camp with Ace Treks was much tougher than I expected, but also one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.Everything in Kathmandu was well organized, from airport pickup to the trek briefing, which made the start of the trip smooth and stress-free. The trek itself was challenging, especially the longer days to Namche Bazaar, Dingboche, and Lobuche. The altitude really makes it harder than you think. Our guide was supportive throughout, keeping a steady pace and reminding us about acclimatization and safety. Accommodation was basic but fine for the location, and food was simple but enough to keep going. Nothing felt unsafe or poorly managed. Reaching Everest Base Camp and watching sunrise from Kala Patthar were definitely the highlights completely worth the effort.Overall, a tough journey but very rewarding, and well handled by the company.
