A challenging but unforgettable experience. The altitude really hits you in the higher sections, but the acclimatization days helped a lot. Everything was well organized from Kathmandu to the trail. Kala Patthar sunrise was absolutely worth the effort.
This trek was honestly one of the toughest things I’ve done, both physically and mentally, but also one of the most beautiful. Some days felt really long and exhausting, especially with the uphill walks and the altitude starting to kick in. But the whole experience along the trail was something I’ll never forget. Walking over suspension bridges, passing through small mountain villages, and just being surrounded by those huge Himalayas every day felt unreal. You slowly start seeing Everest more clearly as you go higher, and that actually keeps you going. There were moments I felt really tired, but the guide was always around, checking on everyone and keeping the group positive. That support made a big difference. Reaching Everest Base Camp in the end felt emotional and kind of hard to explain just a mix of relief, happiness, and pride all at once.
